IRC158982 - Facilities Manager National Trust place The Argory, 144 Derrycaw Road, Dungannon, BT71 6NA Summary Are you passionate about historic buildings, working with people and delivering excellent service? As Facilities Manager you will cover the Mid Ulster portfolio of properties which stretch from Strabane to Newry in Northern Ireland; a combination of country houses (The Argory, Springhill & Ardress House), parkland (including Derrymore House and Demesne), an island (Coney Island) and industrial heritage buildings (Wellbrook Beetling Mill and Gray's Printing Press). As Facilities Manager you'll ensure our properties and facilities are aligned with relevant Health & Safety, Environmental, Fire & Security standards. Hours: 3 days per week, there is a degree of flexibility with which days, to be discussed further at interview. The role will also require some weekend, bank holiday and evening work. What it's like to work here You'll report to the General Manager and will be part of the Property Leadership Team. Youll be accountable for the running of all aspects of facilities management across our properties, making sure were safe and compliant. You'll liaise and collaborate with regional and national experts, external specialists and contractors. There are also wider stakeholders such as tenants on site, neighbours and wider organisations, you'll maintain constructive relationships with everyone. What you'll be doing As Facilities Manager, you'll be leading all planned preventative, reactive maintenance and small projects across the estate. This is a varied role where youll be out and about inspecting our properties and keeping on top of our systems. You'll be accountable for the running of all aspects of facilities management across our properties, making sure we are safe and compliant. You'll lead and manage a small team, who are responsible for maintaining high standards throughout all areas visited by people, including staff and volunteers. Youll also form strong links with your fellow heads of department, and work together to improve things and use resources efficiently. Youll be part of the duty manager team, which means that youll be on a rota as an occasional duty manager. Who we're looking for Wed love to hear from you if youre: experienced in managing facilities, or supervising, and looking to develop your career keenly interested in looking after buildings and assets to a high standard skilled in managing relations with contractors focused on detail, especially to do with health and safety and compliance knowledgeable of environmental and climate initiatives able to manage large maintenance budgets and make sure projects run smoothly.
