This is an exciting opportunity for a Neonatal Nursing Clinical Lead with extensive clinical expertise in perinatal care to join the Medical and Safety Directorate within Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
The post holder will provide subject matter and improvement expertise, clinical advice and visible leadership to the established Scottish Patient Safety Programme (SPSP) for Perinatal and wider quality improvement collaboratives. As part of the SPSP Perinatal programme team, the postholder will provide visible support to teams participating in the ongoing collaborative. The post holder will support teams to deliver evidence-based interventions for perinatal services, which improve experience and outcomes for women, birthing people, babies and families across Scotland.
You will hold active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and be educated to Masters level (or equivalent experience). You will have significant neonatal experience across the four pillars of practice: clinical practice, facilitating learning, leadership and evidence, and research and development. Ideally, you will have experience of engaging with diverse groups and wider multi-professional teams as well as relevant leadership or management experience.
