Care worker, Required for Residential Home night shift We need caring and reliable individuals who are interested in helping us to provide dignified, personal, social care for older people in a residential setting, including assisting with washing, dressing, hygiene and mobility needs, meals, and entertainment. Reliability, flexibility, a caring attitude, and a respect for older people is essential. It is also necessary to have a positive attitude towards the care team and the business. Responsibilities and Duties Initially under supervision you will provide personal and social care for older people in a residential setting, including assisting with washing, dressing, hygiene and mobility needs, meals, and entertainment. This position does involve night shift work (8.00pm to 8.00am) and some weekend shifts although a set shift pattern may be available. Qualifications and Skills Experience in care delivery and working nights is preferred but NOT essential as training will be given. If you are a qualified trainer in moving and handling or first aid you will be on a higher rate of pay.
