Site Engineer - Freelance Contract

Our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor, is seeking a skilled Site Engineer for an exciting 6-8 week contract based in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance for the project, ensuring all work meets the highest standards.
2. Setting Out: Accurately set out bases and ducting to ensure correct alignment and positioning.
3. Documentation: Complete check sheets, ensuring all required records are maintained for the project.
4. Support the Site Manager by taking on more responsibility for day-to-day tasks, enabling the site manager to focus on higher-level project coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in civil engineering projects, with a focus on ducting and base works.
2. Ability to set out works accurately and carry out quality control procedures.
3. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
4. Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing tasks on-site.
5. Valid CSCS card is essential.
