Warehouse, Dispatch & Quality Supervisor

As a Warehouse, Dispatch & Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Warehouse, Dispatch & Quality Control function to ensure an efficient and effective running of both areas which is a vital part of Operations ensuring we meet our customer’s needs with the parts they have purchased.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Warehouse
1. Receive goods in from Dismantling and check operating standards, quality and appearance all match our inventory and stock control systems and databases
2. Ensure all second-hand parts are visually checked to determine whether the part needs regrading or is suitable for resale, reconditioning, export, scrap or surplus to requirements in accordance with agreed standards/processes (VRA)
3. Ensuring accuracy of information on parts is used to update the database accordingly, parts are cleaned, imaged, packaged & tagged as required
4. Ensure all parts are physically located in the appropriate stores location and the database updated accordingly
5. Guarantee the fulfilment of all customer orders within set SLAs, picking parts and moving these to the correct area for dispatch to the customer
6. Provide general assistance and advice, responding to enquiries, advising of suitable alternatives and checking, monitoring and managing parts’ availability
7. Ensure the stock taking process is followed and up to date, stock movements are processed, any damaged or redundant parts are removed from shelves and the database updated accordingly
8. Ensure returned parts are processed to determine if the part is suitable for resale, regrading or disposed of
Dispatch
9. Ensure all parts are processed in accordance with company standards and procedures in a timely and effective manner
10. Utilise integrated systems and standards to enable all orders to be fulfilled to our customers, ensuring each item to undergo stringent quality control
11. Processing stock / orders / inventory & supplies to meet business demands and ensure all parts are dispatched on time in full (OTIF)
12. Fully understand and utilise integrated systems within the business to achieve the overall processing of orders including Frontier software, TSD and BigChange
13. Ensure SLA adherence for all orders, prioritising selected customers to assist in delivery of business model
14. Assist in the delivery of customer service to a high standard internally and externally
Skills & Experience
15. Experience in transport/ warehousing/logistics/distribution role
16. Basic knowledge of local area and road networks
17. Safety Awareness in Manual Handling
18. Able to work under pressure in fast paced environment
19. Process driven, methodical and organised
20. Good communicator with all stakeholders, influential and motivational
