We are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in a mainstream primary school in Gloucestershire for 3 days per week. You will be working with a child in a year 1 class on a 1:1 basis who has mild autism needs. Read write inc experience is desirable but not essential for this role. The school is based in a village near that is a 15-minute drive from the city centre. Our client have an Ofsted rating of Good. The Primary school is also inclusive and diverse with a wide variety of cultures and languages being spoken throughout the school. The SEN Teaching Assistant would need to have previous experience working with children and be committed to a full-time long-term position. The position is to begin immediately. The SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) role To support class teacher with everyday activities. To provide 1-to-1 support to designated SEN pupil. Build relationship with SEN pupil. Required skills and experience for the SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) role. 1-to-1 SEN experience is essential. Qualified minimum level 2 Teaching assistant.
