In this crucial, interim role within the Financial Crime Intelligence Analytics team, you’ll be verifying and validating the accuracy, completeness and quality of data and reports. You’ll be focussing on two high profile areas, Perpetual Know Your Customer (pKYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and ensuring that the information is reliable and suitable for analytical, reporting and decision-making purposes.
You’ll be part of a high-performing team, who create and execute test plans and test scripts to help diagnose issues and bugs to ensure the creation of robust and stable data solutions. You’ll collaborate with the development team and business analysts to discuss performance issues and brainstorm potential improvements.

The difference you’ll make:
* Developing and executing test cases to diagnose issues and bugs, creating robust and stable data solutions
* Conducting functional, regression, integration, stress, and performance testing of reports, dashboards, documenting results, and suggesting enhancements
* Utilising tools for automated testing to streamline the testing process and increase efficiency
* Validating the output produced by the development team, by writing SQL code or queries and creating to create an independent view
* Ensuring data accuracy, security and compliance with legal metrics and the results are accurately presented on BI reports and dashboards
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and validate the solutions
What you’ll bring:
These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:
* Previous experience in a similar testing role within Financial Services, ideally in a Financial Crime environment
* Extensive experience of creating testing documentation, test plans and test scripts
* Excellent SQL query writing experience with a good understanding of JIRA, Confluence and Power BI
* Demonstrable ability to reviewing business requirements and produce accurate testing timelines
It would also be nice for you to have:
* Knowledge and experience of SSMS and Snowflake
* Well-developed interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to quickly absorb and understand complex data or issues, to extract results and to present key conclusions
* Experience of reviewing or creating automated testing models
What else you need to know:
This role 12-month fixed-term contract is based in Milton Keynes.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs. For contract roles, your salary, bonus (where eligible) and certain benefits will be prorated to reflect your contract duration.
* We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
* 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
