The Role As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall efficiency of our finance department. Your responsibilities will include: Processing invoices, payments, and expense claims. Assisting with bank reconciliations and maintaining cash flow records. Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts. Handling accounts payable and receivable functions. Assisting with VAT returns and compliance reporting. Providing general administrative support to the finance team. Communicating with suppliers and resolving any invoice or payment queries. What We’re Looking For Qualifications: AAT qualified or working towards an accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA). Experience: Prior experience in a similar accounts or finance role. Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks) and strong Excel skills.
