Due to the company's rapid expansion, they are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their IT department in Runcorn. Your main responsibilities will be to support the company with IT support via a ticketing system, using face to face, telephone and remote connectivity.

Your main responsibilities:
Collaborate within the IT department to provide 1st-3rd line support for all staff, ensuring they can effectively perform their operational duties on computer systems.
Deliver efficient and effective "Right First Time" IT support via telephone, email, and remote assistance for head office and remote staff, minimizing downtime or service degradation.
Work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a proactive and positive attitude.
Understand computer networking to promptly resolve infrastructure issues.
Ensure end-users receive computers, printers, desk phones, mobiles, etc., in accordance with agreed SLAs.
Build and manage Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 Professional operating systems, as well as Android and Apple devices.
Manage all on-premises servers, virtual servers, remote applications, and services.
Undertake IT projects and tasks as determined by the IT Manager.
Perform any other reasonable tasks or duties requested by the company, including providing support outside core operating hours.
Essential skills and qualifications:
Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Server 2008-2022.
Experience in building, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 Pro OS clients.
Knowledge of configuring DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory.
Administrator experience with O365, including Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint.
Expertise in networking, including LAN, WAN, Meraki Wi-Fi, and remote connectivity.
Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting VOIP solutions.
Understanding and knowledge of VMware, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting (reviewed February 2023).
Experience with physical infrastructure, including structured cabling, firewalls, routers, switches, servers, UPS, and NAS devices.
Ability to perform methodical fault-finding and provide fast resolutions for IT issues across all supported products and services.
