In our ‘Consult’ engine, you’ll join a global team where we work closely with clients to understand their challenges and offer fresh ideas grounded in innovation and sustainability. We provide advisory and project delivery services, guiding clients through every phase of their projects, from initial strategy and planning to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. While we collaborate closely with clients and visit project sites, Consult is centred on producing creative solutions to their individual challenges. What you’ll do
In Building Information Modelling (BIM), you will support clients and Project Teams with developing and maintaining information requirements and standards, developing and managing of processes within a common data environment and leading the delivery of the information management function for project team. Advising, innovating, developing, and implementing processes described within ISO19650 series. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
* Developing an understanding of ISO19650 and any applicable standards for clients.
* Ensuring security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing of information on all projects.
* Learning the fundamentals of authoring information.
* Participating in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments.
* Reading, understanding and supporting the delivery of all Mace process and procedures guides.
* Reviewing current technology solutions and research new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process including emerging technologies.
* Providing construction sequencing strategy using information models.
* Supporting the implementation of governance and assurance processes.
* Supporting object library development in alignment with wider BIM Strategy.
* Developing BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
* Developing Information Requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR) as per ISO 19650.
* Supporting the production of information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources.
* Providing support during the assurance of the Information Model.
* Providing support during the production of the Information Model. (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only)
* Understanding and performs in line with Information Management Assignment Matrix (from Table A.1 of BS EN ISO 19650-2).
* Collaborating closely with the Mace Project Mamagment and Design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way.
* Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You will also work towards gaining professional membership of theBuilding Research Establishment (BRE)or theBritish Standards Institute (BSi), fully funded and supported by us.

About you
* A future or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Building Information Modelling (BIM) or similar
* 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications)
Given the nature of our work, flexibility is key. Our projects and clients are based in various locations, so you should be prepared to travel frequently to different project sites or Mace offices. A positive and adaptable approach to travel is therefore essential, as it may be a regular part of your role. To support this, Mace offers travel expense reimbursements for business travel, including mileage, public transport fares, and, where necessary, accommodation.
