Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Hours: Continental 12 hour shifts - 4 on 4 off (4 Days followed by 4 Nights)
Salary: £43,500 to £46,500 per annum + overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0 + benefits
Location: Easily Commutable from Bromsgrove, Worcester, Halesowen, Bridgnorth, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Redditch and surrounding areas

Suitable candidates will ideally have experience of delivering PPM & reactive maintenance within heavy or industrial production or manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities: This is a permanent position for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer working 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off (4 Days followed by 4 Nights). Working in a team of motivated Engineers, day shifts can be more reactive, responding to breakdowns and line issues, while the night shifts are often more proactive, undertaking PPM, Continuous Improvement and Project Work.
Your role will include: The role is varied and dynamic, so you’ll get the chance to use a variety of electrical skills associated with being an electrician and service engineer.
1. Undertaking troubleshooting and providing Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and specialist machinery to ensure everything runs as expected.
2. In this hands-on role you will be using your problem solving skills and technical expertise every day and as part of a motivated team, you will play a key part in the efficiency and reliability of the production processes.
3. Installing and maintaining all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment & machinery, attending breakdowns, fault finding and undertaking repairs.
4. Operating a preventative electrical maintenance system - CMMS.
5. Troubleshoot & diagnose Siemens & other programmable logic controllers - PLCs.
6. Promoting Lean thinking.
Preferred Skills & Experience: Have completed a recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Electrical Engineering qualifications, beyond just the 18th Edition, @ Level 3 or higher. Be an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias with experience of working in a manufacturing / factory environment.
You’ll enjoy working in a busy environment where you can roll your sleeves up and get hands-on. You will also be flexible in your approach, focusing on the changing day-to-day priorities which will enable the factory to continue to run efficiently.
1. Experience and knowledge of PLCs (programmable logic controllers).
2. Good diagnostics experience of electrical motors and pneumatics.
3. A strong team player with good communication skills.
4. Enjoy analytical & good problem-solving skills.
