A rewarding opportunity has become available for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic primary school in Macclesfield, with an Easter start date. In this role, you will be expected to take on a higher level of responsibility, supporting class teachers in the delivery of lessons and working independently with small groups of students. You will work across different year groups and support children’s learning in various subjects, with a particular focus on providing additional support to pupils who may need help to catch up or achieve their full potential. As an HLTA, you will also be required to assist with planning and preparation of lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the overall development of the school’s educational environment.
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a solid understanding of the primary school curriculum. You should be confident in delivering small-group interventions and be able to manage a range of classroom activities.
