A personable and well-established national construction consultancy, with multiple offices across the UK, is seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join their collaborative finance team based in Milton Keynes.
The Bookkeeper’s role
The successful Bookkeeper will play a vital role in supporting the senior management team and ensuring the smooth financial operation of the business across all UK offices
* Day to day, the successful Bookkeeper will be involved in:
* Managing accounts and bookkeeping processes
* Credit control and cash flow support
* Handling staff expenses
* Overseeing banking transactions and reconciliations
* Managing insurance renewals and queries
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
The Bookkeeper
* Proven experience working with Xero (multiple years essential)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
* Able to commute to Milton Keynes
* Previous experience within a construction or consultancy environment is a bonus (not essential)
