Morgan McKinley are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Finance Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will focus on finance business partnering, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving financial performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial operations of the business, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to provide financial insights and improve commercial outcomes.
This role is paying £70,000 - £75,000 DOE with hybrid working available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business partnering with key operational and commercial teams, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
* Lead and support the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
* Provide financial analysis on business performance, identify trends, and present findings to senior management.
* Assist with the development and implementation of financial strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
* Drive the commercial review of key projects and initiatives, ensuring financial goals and targets are met.
* Manage the financial forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
* Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to inform key business decisions.
* Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and related reporting.
* Ensure financial controls are maintained and adhered to, contributing to the effective management of risk.
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Skills & Experience:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
* Strong business partnering experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Excellent Excel skills, including advanced financial modelling and analysis.
* Previous experience in a commercial finance role, with a focus on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
