A M Phillip Trucktech LTD – Parts Advisor
A. M. Phillip Trucktech Ltd is recruiting for a Parts Sales Advisor for our busy Parts department at the Broxburn site.
This is an office-based role that would suit an individual with prior knowledge and understanding of the automotive stores/parts department environment and experience in the ordering of parts, client customer service and the allocation of items to and from the shop floor. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge with a dynamic and rapidly growing company.
The working pattern is 40hrs per week, Monday - Friday and alternates between early and late shifts covering the department from 6am - 6pm. Saturday morning will also be worked on a rota basis and paid at OT rate.
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
1. Dealing with customer enquiries and requests in person and via phone & email.
2. Ordering, booking out parts, invoicing and taking payment.
3. Checking in parts deliveries as required.
4. Managing parts stock.
5. Building & maintaining supplier relationships.
6. Liaising with the Workshop, Service Advisors and Customers.
7. Providing quotations.
8. Parts delivery as required during holiday cover.
The Person
1. Previous Parts department experience.
2. Strong understanding of a Mechanical/Automotive environment.
3. Excellent organisational skills.
4. Customer Service skills.
5. IT literacy.
6. A current full driving license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,500.00 per year.
