The Opportunity
We are seeking a project manager to join our highly innovative team to help transform the industry delivering innovative offsite manufacturing techniques developed around a zero-carbon emissions design. Project Managers must be prepared to travel throughout the UK.
Role Information
As a Project Manager, you will have single point accountability for the safe and successful delivery of complex projects from inception to completion, along with ownership for the commercial elements of the project, including project spend, cash flow, valuations and client payments.
You will interface with design, manufacturing and installation teams, along with embedded supply chain partners and the client. You will be ensuring all deadlines are met whilst achieving quality and safety standards.
Personal Qualities and Experience
You will be suitably qualified in project management, with at least 3 years experience as a project manager in cleanrooms or design and build and SMSTS. A Prince2 or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
Experience:-
* A background in Cleanroom and Design and Build projects
* Proficient in contract administration using NEC and JCT contract forms
* Track record of delivering project profitability and budget management
* Site and construction management in mechanical, pipework, cleanrooms, EC&I and/or design and build
* Experience of managing employees and contracted workforce across multiple trades and disciplines to ensure all project milestones are met
* Leadership of project control activities including planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, productivity tracking and reporting
* Ownership for project commercial activities including cost tracking and control, forecasting, valuation, WIP control, invoicing and cash collection
* Track record of managing risk and ensuring safe and successful project delivery
* Proficient in the use of planning tools (MS Project or Primavera P6)
* Strong background and experience working under CDM regulations
* Experience of construction with the healthcare sector is highly desirable
Proven Capability in the following areas:-
* Monitoring project scope, cost, time and programme to identify any variations or extensions of time that should be issued to the client
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
* Strong computer literacy, especially excel proficiency
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills
