As a Business Development Manager for our client's sales team, you will develop and own the cross-sales revenue delivery plan to meet set targets across group-wide business products and services, focusing on statutory inspections covering LOLER, PSSR, and COSHH, as well as the wider electrical compliance industry. You will develop and drive sales initiatives in your area of responsibility to grow the sales pipeline and conversion, supporting the overall business strategy while keeping customer obsession central to all strategic activity. You will: Find and develop high-value solutions for customers through channels such as tenders, requests for proposals, and direct awards. Create and maintain relationships with key clients to cross-sell divisional services. Prospect new contacts within your specified sector. Become an active member of the team, working collaboratively to develop new service and product sales opportunities. Deliver sales of products and services throughout the organisation, ensuring consistency with the strategic plan and embracing a solution sales approach. Meet or exceed growth strategies and utilise technologies and sales programs to quickly increase market share. Understand customer business drivers and goals while keeping up to date with their businesses. Develop relationships at decision-maker levels within customer organisations. Be fluent in discussing the scope of services, availability, and throughput at all levels. Develop high-value solutions for customer pain points using the product portfolio. Proactively use the CRM tool to maximise effectiveness. Deliver monthly sales forecasting and an annual budget forecast. Analyse market trends and report back into the business.
