Job Description: Your new role Overhaul Materials Operative Craigentinny Permanent The Overhaul Materials Operative is responsible for ensuring that the correct material is in the right place at the right time to support maintenance overhaul activities at Craigentinny TMC and Newton Aycliffe Manufacturing facility. Assist with the control of goods inwards, delivery booking, goods receiving and any stock discrepancies of material relating to overhaul programs. Maintain the safe and efficient storage of material and ensure a good level of housekeeping. Carry out inventory checks on a regular basis to ensure correct stock levels, including perpetual checks as required. Support & link in to Overhaul Team with loading/offloading of Overhaul Materials as per transportation plan. Management of Overhaul allocated materials, ensuring asset numbers & storage locations are kept up to date in the Material Management System (SAP). Ensuring Functional Locations within Materials Management System are kept up to date with any asset tracked material movements. Support with Cl activities in the Supply Chain stores/ Warehousing processes. Prepare warranty/repairs material to vendor for the Overhaul program. Arranging transport between TMCs, External Warehouses and vendors. Support, when required, with purchasing of indirect materials. Linking into the Overhaul Team Leaders to assist in ensuring required material is available. Implementing and assisting in material kitting. Operate the necessary stores equipment such as forklift, electric pallet truck & cranes Assist with the management of the calibration process and ensure all tools have been calibrated to the correct standard. About you An understanding of health and safety requirements of a working environment.
