Location: Office Base is London, Television Centre. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

BBC Studios Global Media & Streaming division operates multiple digital products in EMEA region, including 7 FAST brands and an Amazon Player.
THE ROLE
Operating at the intersection of commercial insights, content analysis, and business development, the Commercial Business Analyst's role will focus on analysis, evaluation and suggestion of yield decisions for content monetisation on digital platforms as well as commercial performance of those platforms in order to drive optimal commercial outcomes.
This role is designed to unlock commercial opportunities across digital monetisation models such as FAST, aVOD and SVOD, using BBCS's IP catalogue and will work collaboratively with Commercial Leadership and wider teams in region to maximise effectiveness of advertising and subscription models on FAST, AVOD and SVOD.
Responsibilities:
Performance Analysis and Revenue Growth
* Analyse performance data of FAST/AVOD/SVOD digital products to identify revenue and profit growth opportunities, to support budgeting and long-term forecasts.
* Optimise FAST channels' performance by tracking and analysing profitability across individual channels, markets and platform partners.
* Assess subscription performance of BBCS' Amazon Player in Germany identifying pricing strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth.
* Monitor content performance trends across multiple platforms, identifying high-performing titles and genres to inform content monetisation strategies.
* Provide data-driven insights to Commercial Leadership, proactively contributing to product strategy based on internal observations and evolving market trends.
* Support Commercial Leadership team in developing ad-hoc business cases.
Strategic Content Optimisation & Business Insights
* Support the Content Liaison team in analysing back catalogue performance, identifying the most commercially viable titles for each monetisation model.
* Develop data-backed business cases for rights clearances and localisation.
* Point of contact for Data and Insights team to develop, track, and refine key success metrics.
* Assist in the development of automated performance dashboards for real-time content and revenue tracking.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation and optimize processes related to yield management for individual titles and digital products.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Proficient in working with large data sets and ability to navigate complex reporting systems - e.g. Tableau.
* Strong experience in data visualisation while efficiently drawing out key insights.
* Comfortable and confident in communicating insights to relevant stakeholders.
* Proficient in use of digital monetisation models.
* Experience in commercial planning/content yield management within a matrix organisation.
* Ability to drive tasks and projects to completion without supervision.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Able to collaborate and build a network across the business.
* Proactive problem solving and tenacity to implement change.
* Excellent IT skills including advanced Excel, PowerPoint.
* Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues independently.
