My client is looking to recruit a Buying/Sales Administrator for their growing business. This is an exciting opportunity to join their team as the grow out into the USA. The role will have the following responsibilities; Direct report to CEO. Preparing specification sheets for new product development ideas Sending specification sheets and samples to China based suppliers Follow up with China based suppliers for quotations and samples Preparing Excel spreadsheets for CEO to review quotes from suppliers for final selection purposes Checking samples from suppliers and approving them before being sent to customers Preparing customer “decks/ presentations” in Power Point format for US based customers Liaising with in-house graphic design team to obtain assets to help prepare decks Preparing samples to send to customers in US and suppliers in China, includes all documentation needed for couriers/ customs Liaising with sales representative group in US, to ensure customer request are met on a timely basis, such as quotes and sample requirements Working with the CEO to take details for all customer presentations and quotations Collating samples for all US customer meetings This role will also have potential to transition working with our teams in UK & Europe at a later date The person for this role possesses: High attention to detail Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Good knowledge of preparing visual presentations in Power Point Can do attitude Fast paced The person ideally has (but is not 100% necessary) Good eye for product sourcing Negotiating skills Only relevant candidates will be contacted
