We believe that people want to live in a place they call home, with the people and things that they love, in communities where we look out for one another, doing things that matter to them. If you agree with this statement then a job in the Direct Care and Support Team may be just the job for you.
You will be working alongside people in their own homes providing personal, social and practical support. You will also get the opportunity to support people with digital technology.
Training is provided, updated, and refreshed at a very high standard in line with Care Quality Commission Regulation 18. You will be provided with a tunic with logo, plus the choice of t-shirt/polo shirt. Full PPE is also provided in line with Health and Safety requirements.
Experience of working with adults is preferable but not essential. You will need to be person-centered and be able to demonstrate working as part of a team.
You will need to work flexibly on a rolling rota as the service offers support to people 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Great opportunity to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.
