The government's Warm Homes Project is transforming the energy efficiency of social housing across Britain. In Bath, this presents a unique challenge: delivering retrofit solutions across a diverse portfolio that includes both contemporary and heritage properties. We need your surveying expertise to help us deliver.
This isn't just about buildings. You'll be working with everything from innovative insulation solutions and air source heat pumps to solar PV installations and smart home technology. Each day brings new challenges as you help create warmer, more energy efficient homes while developing specialist skills in one of the UK's fastest-growing sectors.

What you'll be doing
1. Deliver innovative retrofit projects from survey to completion, transforming homes with modern energy solutions.
2. Implement a range of technologies from external wall insulation to renewable heating systems and solar installations.
3. Manage contractors and suppliers to ensure quality installations that meet both technical standards and resident needs.
4. Create technical specifications that balance energy performance with the character of Bath's diverse building types.
5. Build relationships with residents, ensuring they understand and benefit from the improvements to their homes.
6. Develop your expertise in emerging retrofit technologies through hands-on experience and funded qualifications.

More about you
You're an MRICS qualified surveyor ready to play a pivotal role in the UK's green housing revolution. Your experience working with diverse property types, potentially including historic buildings, will help you develop appropriate solutions across our Bath-based portfolio.
You combine technical excellence with strong programme leadership, helping you balance delivery targets with resident needs. Most importantly, you're passionate about creating sustainable communities.
