Responsibilities include:
1. Perform all duties required, in a safe and efficient manner
2. Successfully complete training in the following areas: confined space entry, fall protection, lockout, WHIMIS, radiation
3. Actively participate in weekly safety huddles
4. Main responsibilities will involve providing labor support for miscellaneous projects as assigned (painting, shoveling, washing equipment)
Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
1. Must be a resident of the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan’s north (RSN)
2. Possess grade 12 or equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age
3. A Valid driver’s license is required
4. Must be dependable and able to work independently
5. Previous mining, maintenance, or industrial experience is an asset
6. Must have good communication skills
Work Location & Schedule:
1. McClean Lake site
2. 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
3. Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
4. Fly Day - This position will fly in and fly out on Fridays
5. Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.
This position is subject to pre-employment checks including education and criminal record verification.
