Position: Math, Science and Enrichment teacher Location: Ripon, North Yorkshire Hours: 37 hours per week, term time, permanent position Salary Details: £30,000 SEN Allowance of £2209 per annum As a General Teacher for Math’s and Science and Enrichment you will provide vital support to core subject areas and collaborate with subject-specific teachers to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students. You will be accountable for delivering high quality teaching and learning and ensuring the inclusion for all our students with special educational needs. You will also have oversight for personal and group enrichments activities. The school: Cambian Spring Hill School is a 38- and 52-week day and residential school for children and young people aged 8-19 with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, associated challenging behaviours, learning and communication difficulties and complex needs. Requirements: Teaching qualification and experience. A thorough understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching methodologies to meet the diverse needs of learners. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
