Summary: We are looking for an experienced Skid Steer Operator who possesses a clear understanding of the civil construction industry and is looking for their next opportunity. BG Contracting Limited is a privately owned civil contracting business that has been proudly involved in building Canterbury's infrastructure for over 40 years.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Foreman, you will be an all-rounder with the flexibility to do hands-on work as well as operation of machinery.
You will need:
* At least 1 year skid operator experience
* GPS experience
* Ability to read and understand plans and complete own set out and heights
* Capability to maintain machines
* Team player mentality, with responsibility and good time management
* Punctuality and trustworthiness
Have a good knowledge of:
* Safe operator practice
* Loading trucks and equipment safety
* Workplace safety
Qualifications:
* Full Class 2 Licence (or preferably Full Class 4)
