Job description
A great chance to start your career in hospitality and catering has become available at The Bell And Bottle in Cannock.
They are looking for someone to join the team as an apprentice and learn all aspects of a professional kitchen and learn to produce great food.
Duties Will include:
Food preparation
Cooking
Ensuring compliance to sanitation, hygiene, health and safety legislation and organisational and quality requirements
Quality management of food
To keep accurate records and accounts as required and reporting as agreed
Adhering to company policies
To Present yourself well to represent the company at all times
As an Apprentice you will be included on a Level 2 Production Chef qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by a Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.
To become an apprentice, you must:
be 16 or over
not already be in full-time education
As an apprentice you’ll:
complete a Early Years apprenticeship standard
have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace
learn and train for a specific job
get paid and receive holiday leave
get hands-on experience in a real job
study for at least 20% of your working hours
complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship
be on a career path with lots of future potential

Things to consider
The weekly wage reflects a 30 hour week, your hours may increase to 40 some weeks to suit the needs of the business
Your shifts will include evenings and weekends
