Bank/sessional Motor Vehicle Lecturer

Salary Range: £14.04 - £16.76 per hour depending upon experience

About the role
You will support and inspire students, visiting apprentices on-site and in the workplace to carry out regular reviews, assessments, and on-site observations. Alongside this, you will deliver knowledge in the classroom, sharing your wealth of experience, teaching on a range of City & Guilds qualifications at Entry Level and Levels 1, 2, and 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or currently working within the industry and looking to take on some extra hours in the teaching profession, you will be thoroughly supported with any training needs you have. Our aim is to ensure that you are fully equipped to deliver the curriculum and support students in gaining the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their studies.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have the following:
* A relevant Level 3 or above vocational qualification
* An up-to-date, in-depth, and practical experience of working in the industrial or commercial area, including the health and safety aspects of the role where applicable
* Experience of delivering innovative and inspiring teaching at Grade 1 or 2 within the relevant discipline is desirable
* A willingness to attain a L3 teaching qualification, with the necessary support
