You have a deep understanding of interpreting legislation related to PAYE, NI, and statutory deductions, with proven experience in processing large payrolls. What the Job Involves Your primary responsibility is to lead a team ensuring efficient, timely payroll delivery in compliance with legislation and service conditions. You’ll provide strategic oversight for payroll services, aiming for continuous improvement and efficiency. This role involves managing payroll systems, onboarding new employees with correct pay setups, leading on pension auto-enrollment processes, and resolving complex payroll queries. Furthermore, you will collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with statutory obligations, oversee the creation of payroll reports, and guide your team in resolving escalated issues.
