We are looking for an HRBP with Compliance Expertise to to join our team.This role combines strategic HR business partnership with deep knowledge of HR compliance, focusing on both the people side of the business and ensuring that all HR policies, practices, and operations are legally compliant. The ideal candidate will work closely with business leaders to drive organisational change, optimize performance, and maintain compliance with local and regional labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnership
* Act as a trusted partner to management by providing strategic HR support in alignment with business objectives and growth.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement organisational structures and workforce strategies.
* Provide guidance and support on talent management, performance optimisation, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Lead employee relations initiatives, resolving conflicts and ensuring a positive working environment.
* Assist in organisational change management, ensuring smooth transitions when implementing new structures or policies.
Compliance & Legal Expertise
* Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws, industry regulations, and company standards.
* Review, develop, and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance in areas such as recruitment, employee contracts, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
* Provide expert advice to management regarding legal aspects of HR issues, such as employee rights, health and safety regulations, and labor disputes.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure HR compliance with relevant laws and regulations, proactively identifying and addressing any gaps.
* Assist in the development and delivery of HR compliance training to ensure the leadership team and employees understand their rights and responsibilities.
Policy Development & Implementation
* To develop and implement policies that align with organisational goals while maintaining legal compliance.
* Support the communication and enforcement of HR policies to ensure clear understanding among employees and management.
* Provide guidance on employee contracts, compensation packages, and labor law requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Reporting & Analytics
* Provide regular HR metrics and reports to business leaders on key HR performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnover, employee engagement, and compliance status.
* Track and report on HR compliance issues and resolve them proactively, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
Talent Management & Development
* Support talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent while ensuring all recruitment practices are legally compliant.
* Facilitate succession planning, career development, and leadership pipeline initiatives in alignment with business objectives.
* Drive performance management processes and provide coaching and feedback to management on managing employee performance and development.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* HR certification (CIPD, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent) is a plus. Proven experience as an HRBP with at least 5 years in HR management, with a strong focus on compliance.
* In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations at local, regional, and international levels.
* Strong understanding of HR policies and best practices, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
* High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
