The Project
As a highly experienced Sales Estimator, you will be required to play a key role overseeing various commercial & residential fabrication & installation projects based in Watford, London. You will be accurately assessing client requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates and providing timely quotations. They will collaborate with project managers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
Requirements
It is essential that you hold the experience below;
Previous experience in a B2B window company or manufacturer
Extensive background within the industry with at least 3 years of experience working as a Sales Estimator
A demonstrated track record of working on a diverse range of projects including commercial and residential fabrication and installation projectsAdditional skills;
Ability to negotiation effectively
Strategic and analytical thinking
Strong communication and attention to details
Familiar with office equipment including printers and copiers
Proficient utilisation in Window Designer and / or Logikal software is highly desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholdersThe Role

Lead showroom tours for potential clients
Update pricing databases and ensure accuracy
Oversee the main sales inbox, ensuring prompt responses
Discuss project details, budgets, and timelines with customers
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Develop accurate cost estimates for products, materials, and labor
Keep informed about market prices, materials, and new technologies
Adapt estimating techniques to align with evolving industry standards
Identify materials, measurements, and timeframes required for the job
Identify potential new business opportunities during client interactions
Keep records of estimates, quotes, and project details for future reference
Support the sales team by providing competitive pricing and strategic input
Handle incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
Review blueprints, drawings, and project requirements to determine scope and pricing
Provide support for technical inquiries by delivering accurate information and solutions
Coordinate with sales, production, and procurement teams to align estimates with company capabilities
Create estimates for windows, doors, and associated products using Window Designer and Logikal software
Act as the main point of contact for delayed projects, communicating with customers and coordinating with production teams and suppliers
Manage key customer accounts, overseeing quotations, order processing, accessories, and service-related mattersThis is a permanent position with an excellent salary on offer for the successful candidate.
