We are looking for a talented R&D Chef to join an exciting startup focused on redefining the grab-and-go food market. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to developing meals designed to support mental wellbeing by nourishing gut and brain health.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and test innovative, plant-based recipes that focus on brain, gut, and immunity health.
* Collaborate with a nutritionist to ensure recipes align with functional nutritional guidelines.
* Optimise recipes for scalability, production efficiency, and shelf life.
* Stay informed on trends in plant-based and functional food innovation.
* Lead product validation in pop-ups and prepare for the first store launch.
* Train kitchen staff and maintain food safety and quality standards.
* Respond to customer feedback and refine recipes accordingly.
What They Are Looking For
* Proven experience as a chef, with expertise in plant-based cuisine and food-to-go concepts.
* 5-7 years of experience in the food industry, with a focus on recipe development.
* Knowledge of functional foods and dietary requirements (e.g., vegan, free from alliums).
* Creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail to deliver high-quality recipes.
* Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work in a startup environment.
