Join our team and play a vital role in managing and providing access to essential information resources that drive innovation and growth at DNV. As a Librarian within DNV Library Services, you will be part of the Global Shared Service, Real Estate and Procurement team in Nordics.
The Library Services offer essential information resources, tools, and collections to support research, development, and innovation to all DNV employees and business areas globally:
* Industry standards and guidelines: Comprehensive databases containing international standards, best practices, and guidelines relevant to various sectors.
* Scientific books, journals, and research papers.
* Digital libraries and E-Books.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Purchasing, sourcing, and managing license agreements for scientific literature, international standards, and electronic resources.
* Content owner for the library’s intranet website (SharePoint).
* Management and curation of the collection of international standards, industry standards, rules, and guidelines (back-up).
* Handling of newspaper and journal subscriptions (back-up).
* Cataloguing of specialized literature/documents in various formats.
* Advise and perform literature searches/reviews.
* Bibliography and reference management checks for DNV Service Documents.
* Support the day-to-day running of front-line services.

* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in library science and information studies.
* Experience from a specialized/corporate library.
* Excellent understanding of all library operations.
* The proven ability to work in a team and in a digital manner.
* Effective time management skills.
* Excellent written and oral language skills in English.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to provide timely, highly specific scientific documents/resources to end-users.
* Attention to fine detail.
* Good IT skills.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft’s product portfolio.
An extra advantage (though not a must) would be having:
* Expertise in the library system Mikromarc, reference management tools like EndNote, Mendeley, etc.
* Written and oral language skills in Norwegian.
