WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Business Expert in a product team, you are accountable for making sure the product meets customer and end-user needs and brings value to the business. You work closely with product managers, engineers, product designers, and other stakeholders, focusing on pinpointing and prioritizing wanted effects for the product and how these can be realized to give business value.
You have one leg in the subject matter expertise perspective (business area) and one in the tech perspective. You are accountable for identifying needs for updated business processes or other changes in relation to end-user and customer needs and how the product is realized, and you drive these changes where needed to optimize the product and processes connected to it. You are responsible for making sure that the product meets value by taking on the change management perspective in relation to end-users and other stakeholders.

Who You Are
We are looking for people that have:
* Retail Operations & Process Knowledge – Deep understanding of in-store operations, workflows, and challenges to ensure the app meets business and user needs.
* Requirement Gathering & Stakeholder Management – Ability to collect and translate business requirements into clear specifications for development teams.
* Change Management & User Adoption – Experience in driving change, training store staff, and ensuring successful adoption of new digital tools.
* Be a natural point of contact, working to create understanding regarding the product purpose and plan, both within a product/between products and outside the product.
Good to have:
* Previous experience from working with Smartstore.
* Experience with Store Digitalization – Previous involvement in digital transformation projects within retail, such as mobile apps, POS systems, or endless aisle solutions.
* Data-Driven Decision Making – Ability to analyze user feedback and app usage data to drive continuous improvements.
* Agile & Product Development Collaboration – Familiarity with Agile ways of working and experience collaborating with product and tech teams.
Qualifications
* Deep skills within one or several subject matter expertise areas, and ability to communicate and explain this to various stakeholders.
* Experience from and interest in digital product development.
* Skilled in pinpointing what's needed to improve end-user efficiency, resulting in business value & customer satisfaction.
* Strong ability to contribute to solving complex functional problems within the digital product relating to the subject matter expertise.
* Ability to understand digital product development from ideation to release.
* Deep understanding of how the product is built, prioritization, and impact of own and other products.
* Skilled in setting priorities by analyzing impact both from a business and tech perspective.
* Skilled in explaining why specific priorities are made due to technical implications within own and related product.
* Ability to create business case and tie it to product value proposition based on identified market opportunity.
* Strong ability to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items for team members.
* Strong ability to align the release from quality perspective to meet end users’ expectations to achieve operational excellence.
* Skilled in networking with stakeholders and end-users at various levels.
