Community Stroke Rehabilitation are looking for an experienced qualified therapist with significant experience in stroke rehabilitation to join our team. This Clinical Lead is open to an AHP with fast stroke knowledge and authentic leadership skills.
The post will be based at the Chester le Street Hospital site and will comprise both a clinical and a leadership role within the team. The successful candidate will work with and support Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and skilled associates to deliver innovative, evidence-based stroke rehabilitation in patients' own homes and out-patient settings to optimise recovery.

Job responsibilities
As an autonomous practitioner with the freedom to act, you will be personally, professionally, and legally accountable for the services you provide to patients in your care and for those of any Assistant Practitioners, Care Support Workers, and Students under your supervision.
Responsibilities include clinical leadership, coordination, and supervisory responsibilities for staff between Bands 2 to Band 6.

* BSc/MSc/Diploma in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy/ or other AHP

* Recognised relevant academic qualification
* An understanding of County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, its culture, strategic direction, achievements, and NHS standing
* High level of STROKE knowledge and experience
