We’re looking to recruit a Landscape Design Technical Specialist to join our team based in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will be managing and coordinating all EKFB and DJV supply chain landscape design deliverables, including General Arrangement Drawings, Typical Details, Schedules, LMMMPs and SCEW requirements. You will be responsible for technical oversight of the designs with an understanding of the design requirements in the context of the Environmental Statement and EMR compliance. You will provide professional expertise supporting the re-submissions for Schedule 17 and Bringing into Use Applications. Part of this role is to ensure that the engineering & Environment Teams and any DJV supply chain understand the environmental aspects and impacts, and what action is required of them. You will assist in the management of early warnings and chair risk reduction meetings to assist in their resolution and establish and maintain a programme for reporting and demonstrating compliance with applicable legislation and industry best practice. You will assist with the implementation of BS EN ISO14001 certification and audit against the standard and internal procedures and support supply chain activities to raise environmental and sustainability standards. You will support Environment team activities to raise standards & improve wider environmental and sustainability awareness. In addition, you will work in collaboration with the wider Environmental team, Client, designers, community, stakeholder and public relations managers to ensure the programme is achieved. About You Key Skills and Qualifications: Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture/Environment or similar. Chartered Member of an appropriate professional body e.g. landscape institute. Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing designs and design teams, and negotiating with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to manage meetings and extract key points and actions, and to communicate and/or disseminate this to others. Understanding of relationships between environmental and engineering workflows, and proven ability to increase awareness across the wider project team. Experience of driving improvements to systems and processes. Good interpersonal skills, and an ability to develop and maintain good relationships and networks. Full driving licence is required for this role.
