Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Director for the Europe West region to drive sales growth, expand market presence, and develop strategic relationships across Ireland, Spain, and Portugal. The role involves achieving revenue targets, managing channels, developing regional strategies, and fostering customer relationships to increase market share and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve annual sales and gross margin targets within the assigned region.
2. Develop and maintain key customer relationships and explore multiple routes to market.
3. Manage and evaluate regional routes to market, making adjustments as needed.
4. Expand business into new market segments and countries within the region.
5. Create and implement regional business strategies to meet financial goals.
6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as sales, margins, and profitability.
7. Support channel partners through training and business planning to grow revenues.
8. Develop an annual regional strategic plan focusing on growth opportunities and competitive analysis.
9. Manage the regional business development budget.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; valid driving license.
* Fluent in English; Spanish and Portuguese are advantageous.
* At least 8 years of post-graduation experience in business development.
* Proven success in international sales and understanding of the water industry in the region.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Expansion into new European territories.
* Development of regional strategic plans.
* Building a pipeline of new customers and orders.
