About Our Client:
Our client is a dynamic and innovative company with 20 years of experience in the experiential events and brand activation sector. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional, creative, and on-brand solutions for their clients, many of whom are London-based agencies. With a team of 30 full-time staff, they pride themselves on fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence. After recently relocating to a new space near the M1, they continue to push the boundaries of event production.
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage the full production process of experiential events—from initial concept through to on-site delivery. This role is ideal for someone with a background in managing complex event logistics and construction processes, who is passionate about delivering memorable, high-quality events. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the standard the company is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage experiential event projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
* Collaborate with clients to develop creative and innovative event solutions.
* Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of event logistics, including construction and build elements.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage the team, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Implement risk management strategies to mitigate issues during event execution.
* Coordinate with the team to ensure all technical and creative aspects align with client expectations.
* Ensure the quality and safety of all experiential event builds and installations.
* Act as the client’s ambassador on-site, embodying a positive and can-do attitude at all times.
* Respond proactively to unforeseen challenges, ensuring safe and calm resolution.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety policies at all times.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in project management, specifically within experiential events or brand activations.
* Strong knowledge of construction and build processes (technical knowledge is a plus).
* Proficiency in CAD software, Rental Point, and other event management tools.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Ability to thrive under pressure, particularly during the busiest period from May to October.
* Full and clean driving licence, with the ability to drive company vehicles.
* Willingness to stay current with industry trends, equipment, and best practices.
