Are you passionate about driving change and maintaining seamless IT service operations? We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Change and Configuration Analyst to join a growing Information Technology team who are supporting a large transformation programme.
The Role
As a key player in our IT department, you’ll manage and enhance our Change and Configuration Management processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with our business goals. Your efforts will support the smooth delivery of IT services and provide invaluable insights to stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
* Lead the end-to-end Change and Configuration Management processes, including CABs and Forward Schedule of Change.
* Administer the Configuration Management System (CMS) and maintain data quality.
* Provide actionable insights through detailed management reports on IT assets, changes, and trends.
* Proactively manage corrective actions for failed/unauthorized changes.
* Oversee Configuration Items (CIs) and IT asset baselines, ensuring accuracy and readiness.
* Drive improvements in tools like ServiceNow and support audits as required.
What We’re Looking For
* ITIL V3 Foundation certificate (minimum).
* Strong hands-on experience in Change management and Configuration Management processes
* Experience of administrating a central CMDB (configuration management database) within a service support environment
* Proficiency with service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and SAM systems (e.g., SCCM).
* Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, asset lifecycle, and software license management.
* Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
* A collaborative approach, with the ability to build relationships across levels.
