Please ensure you complete and submit your application as soon as possible for consideration The role You will be involved in supporting the delivery of our degree apprenticeship provision working on the Occupational Therapy courses and inter-professional portfolio. As a Lecturer, you will be able to inspire our students and make a valuable contribution to their learning experience, whilst preparing them for contemporary occupational therapy practice. You must be an HCPC-registered occupational therapist and have well-developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical, and theoretical issues relevant to contemporary practice. Ideally, you’ll be at the forefront of new ways of working in the NHS, in either primary or secondary settings, demonstrating care innovation and emergent management pathways. We have a team of lecturers to deliver our apprenticeship provision, and it would be envisaged that you would be part of this team, contributing to occupational therapy education in higher education whilst retaining strong links with learners, employers and practice partners. The OT Degree Apprenticeship programme is delivered in weekly blocks interspersed throughout the year with each encompassing a mix of face-to-face and online delivery (2 days onsite delivery and 3 days online). We currently have three OT Degree Apprenticeship programmes (Sheffield, Derby and North West region) although we are working towards having one programme based in Sheffield over the next 3 years. You would support the North West region delivery based in Manchester/Bolton. You will support teaching and learning across a range of modules, assessment, and feedback, supporting students’ academic and practice learning progression. As a Lecturer, you’ll have the ability to inspire, enthuse and connect with a range of backgrounds and you will work collaboratively to enhance the student experience. £38,205 to £42,978 per annum (pro rata), dependent on experience
