Library Supervisor (2.5 posts) Salary: Grade 6 (£34,416 - £35,448) (pro rata for 18 hours) Working Pattern: 2 Full time, fixed term posts 36 hours per week and 1 Part time, permanent post 18 hours per week Each post will have a set working pattern and will working include alternate Saturdays Libraries are currently open 10-6 Monday to Friday and 9-5 Saturday. All positions will require working full days Location: Staff will be required to travel to any of Croydon’s Libraries and work in the Archives Research Room to ensure they are open to advertised hours. About the Role: From April 2025, Croydon Libraries will be operating a new service model. To deliver this we are looking for people who have a passion for customer service and for working as part of a team delivering Croydon’s library services directly to our customers. The post holder will manage and lead a team of staff in delivering high quality customer service. They will support the delivery of activities and events and assist customers with accessing online information and other resources.; this could be in a library building or as part of the outreach programme. They will also be promoting all services to a wide range of customers.
