Join AZAD Technology Partners as an Energy Efficiency Engineer and provide energy efficiency project engineering and technical expertise to a regional utility organization's conservation team. This individual will visit utilities and end-users to develop energy efficiency project recommendations, help solve energy efficiency problems and/or identify energy efficiency opportunities or improvements.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid with onsite 1 - 2 days weekly in Spokane, Washington with up to 30% travel within the regional service areas of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is $31.34 - $41.57 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidates must possess the following experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
2. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree is preferred.
3. Manufacturing/industrial degrees or a directly related technical/engineering degree will be considered.
4. 2 years of demonstrated experience in energy efficiency engineering.
A combined experience of 2 years or more in all of the following areas:
1. Experience auditing, modeling, and analyzing mechanical systems.
2. Experience analyzing systems and processes with heat transfer, fluid dynamic and thermodynamic principles for energy efficiency improvements.
3. Experience with energy savings calculations, energy models (i.e. Energy Plus) and data analysis methodologies.
