The role As a Platform Integration Engineer, you will design, build, and support solutions for next-generation video processing platforms. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will develop integration solutions, automate workflows, and ensure seamless deployment across on-prem and cloud environments. What you'll do - Develop and maintain automated pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and software deployment across on-premises and AWS environments. - Build API integrations between broadcast systems, leveraging REST for seamless communication with third-party and internal platforms. - Work with DevOps, QA, and engineering teams to ensure integrations meet performance and operational requirements. - Optimise platform performance, automate processes, and manage costs across broadcast and production engineering platforms. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, providing 3rd-line production support and leveraging monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack. - Document system architecture, operational runbooks, and technical processes. - Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001). - Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning, ensuring high availability and platform resilience. What you'll bring - Experience with MAM/PAM systems, video processing, and streaming technologies. - Hands-on expertise in building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Concourse, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. - Experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments (AWS, GCP, Azure). - Proficiency in coding with Python, Java/Groovy, JavaScript, or Node.js. - Strong background in Linux administration, database management (SQL, NoSQL), networking (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing), and cybersecurity. - Experience with monitoring and observability tools, ensuring effective alerting strategies. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and version control systems like Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Nice to have - Experience with AI-driven optimisation for video processing and content delivery. - Industry certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD, or Security (CISSP, CEH). - Knowledge of serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions) for event-driven processing.
