Job description We are seeking a highly motivated Delivery Manager to oversee an engineering detailed design contract for nuclear civil work based in Bristol. This role involves leading a dedicated team of building managers, ensuring effective collaboration with consortium partners, and facilitating the sharing of best practices and innovations with our team in France. The Delivery Manager will also monitor the contract for EGIS, ensuring adherence to schedule, cost, and scope, and will report directly to the Project Director. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Problem Solving: Lead and manage a team of building pilots, providing guidance and support in day-to-day operations Identify and resolve project-related issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions Interface Management: Liaise with other entities of the consortium, fostering strong working relationships to ensure project alignment and integration Coordinate and manage interface activities with external stakeholders and project teams Technical Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Technical Lead to ensure technical challenges are identified, addressed, and communicated effectively across the wider team Facilitate the dissemination of technical solutions and updates to all relevant stakeholders Contract Monitoring: Monitor the EGIS contract, ensuring that the project remains on schedule, within budget, and within scope Ensure key milestones are met and report on progress regularly to the Project Director Innovation & Best Practices: Ensure the sharing of best practices and innovative approaches with the French design teams and other major nuclear power plant design contracts Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team Cost & Mobilization Monitoring: Monitor the mobilization of project resources, ensuring efficient use of personnel and materials Oversee project costs and budgets, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements Data Management: Ensure proper management and organization of project data, maintaining accuracy and accessibility Collaborate with system engineers to integrate data management systems within project workflows Profile Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field Proven experience in delivery management within the nuclear or civil engineering sectors Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead teams effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with diverse stakeholders Knowledge of project cost management, contract monitoring, and data management systems Familiarity with nuclear regulations and safety standards is a plus What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career progression A collaborative work environment focused on innovation and excellence Given the nature of the work, role holders may be required to undergo Basic Security Clearance (BPSS).
