Position: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
My client has a small, family-run nursing home in Burgess Hill, and is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Manager to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified nurse with the desire to lead and provide high-quality care in a supportive, family-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered.
2. Oversee the well-being of residents, with a particular focus on dementia care.
3. Ensure the nursing home complies with all regulatory and legal requirements, including maintaining CQC standards.
4. Manage, develop, and motivate the care team, promoting a positive and professional culture.
5. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
Ideal Candidate:
1. A qualified nurse with an active NMC registration.
2. Ideally, already a registered manager or an experienced deputy manager ready to take the next step in their career.
3. Strong knowledge of dementia care and a passion for delivering person-centred care.
4. Good understanding of CQC requirements and how to achieve and maintain 'Good' ratings.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
