Job Title: HR and Payroll Coordinator Location: London Salary : Competitive salary package An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the HR team of a prestigious global law firm based in London. This is a fantastic role for someone highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. The position offers the chance to work closely with a dynamic HR team while supporting payroll and benefits administration across the firm. Key Responsibilities: Monthly Payroll Coordination Collect and review payroll data on a monthly basis to ensure accurate processing. Act as the main point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, managing both Payroll and HR inboxes. Collaborate with external payroll consultants and internal HRIS teams to implement payroll updates and resolve any issues. Work with the Finance department to address payroll-related queries, reporting, reconciliation, and audits. Generate and analyse payroll and HR-related reports. HR Activities Support the HR team throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and managing employment term changes. Offer administrative support to senior HR team members for daily operations and ad-hoc projects. Maintain and update employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS). Assist with periodic HR activities such as vacation audits, salary/benefit surveys, and calculations. Provide cover for other HR team members when needed. Benefits Administration Serve as the key point of contact for all employee benefits, including medical, dental, GP, and Cycle to Work Scheme. Manage pension administration, including opt-in/opt-out processes and monthly pension uploads. Conduct benefit inductions for new employees, ensuring they are well-informed of available options. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Proven experience in an HR role within a professional services environment, preferably in a law firm. Previous experience managing payroll administration with an outsourced provider. Expertise in benefits administration and pension management processes. Familiarity with statutory payments and related regulations. Strong IT skills, with prior experience using Workday preferred. Advanced Excel skills (including v-lookups and pivot tables). Excellent reporting and data analysis capabilities. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
