We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPN) and Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) to join our growing workforce in the social care sector. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly while playing a vital role in supporting some of the most vulnerable individuals in society.
As a CPN or RMN, you will provide expert mental health support to individuals within community and social care settings. You will assess service users’ needs, develop and implement tailored care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, person-centred support in line with SSSC and NOS guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, identifying risks, strengths, and support needs.
* Develop and implement personalised care and support plans, promoting independence and well-being.
* Deliver clinical interventions to individuals with mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and substance misuse issues.
* Provide crisis intervention, suicide prevention support, and risk management.
* Work collaboratively with social care teams, GPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, multi-agency support.
* Administer and manage medication safely in line with NMC and legislative guidelines.
* Advocate for service users, ensuring their rights, dignity, and preferences are respected at all times.
* Maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with professional and legal standards.
* Provide emotional and practical support to service users and their families, fostering a therapeutic and inclusive approach to care.
* Contribute to training and supervision, supporting social care staff in delivering mental health-informed care.

What our recruitment process involves
To maintain our premium database our agency nurses, possess a minimum of one year’s proven full-time experience relevant to the role in which we place them.
Our recruitment process involves the following steps:
* Initial review and interview (digital face-to-face or recorded assessment by a registered nurse).
* Reference checks based on your professional experience.
* Verification of identity documents, including proof of Right to Work in the UK.
* PVG Scheme membership (or evidence of enrolment in the PVG Update Service).
* Occupational health assessment and proof of immunisations (EPP and non-EPP).
* Current evidence of competency training in Basic Life Support and Manual Handling.
* Educational and professional qualifications, especially for specialist roles.
