What You’ll Do
* Lead and manage therapeutic services, maintaining compliance with statutory and clinical standards.
* Provide day-to-day leadership to the therapy team and the Well-Being Coordinator.
* Manage a caseload of students, delivering therapeutic interventions and coordinating additional support to promote academic engagement.
* Oversee the referral process, working closely with internal and external partners to ensure student needs are effectively triaged and addressed.
* Develop and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of students aged 16–19.
* Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed and contribute to the college’s safeguarding responsibilities.
* Monitor and manage service demand, capacity, and waiting lists, ensuring continuous quality improvement.
* Participate in the development of policies related to mental health, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Who You Are
To be successful, you will:
* Have a postgraduate qualification in psychotherapy or counselling (minimum Diploma level) and be registered with a professional body (UKCP, BACP, HCPC).
* Bring a minimum of two years’ clinical experience working with young people and managing complex cases.
* Have robust experience in safeguarding, risk assessment, and multi-agency collaboration within an educational context.
* Be a skilled communicator, able to work with students, staff, parents, and external agencies effectively.
* Be organised and adaptable and thrive in a team environment, with a passion for improving the well-being and life chances of young people.
What We Offer
* A supportive, communicative working environment that values your professional growth.
* Access to corporate memberships for local gyms, fitness suite use, and a Cycle to Work scheme.
* A salary sacrifice Techscheme to help you stay connected.
* An employee assistance programme offering 24/7 support on a range of topics.
