Commercial law firm in Bristol which is recognised for the work it does in the Healthcare sector seeks a Healthcare Regulatory lawyer of 1 or more years’ PQE. The team is highly rated in the legal directories and provides legal advice and training to a very wide range of organisations operating in the health and social care sector, including NHS Trusts, independent sector providers, charities, commissioners, investors, and MDO's. They currently have an opportunity for a Solicitor to undertake regulatory and advisory work, including coroners inquests, Court of Protection litigation, patient care issues and mental health advice, CQC inspection, regulation and enforcement, and professional regulatory advice. The team plays an important role in this firm’s broader Health practice, which is widely recognised as an important strategic, commercial and regulatory legal adviser to the health and social care sector in the UK. They also offer a flexible, friendly, collaborative environment in a team which has a great track record of development and progression. The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and committed approach with an interest in developing expertise in areas such as health and social care regulation, coroner’s inquests, mental health law, serious medical treatment, and information governance. Advocacy experience would be of interest (but not essential as training can be provided in this area). Our client does not expect candidates to cover the full breadth of work undertaken by the team, but we do require a clear interest in this area and enthusiasm to develop skills and knowledge relevant to the work we do.
