We’re seeking a motivated Marketing Assistant to help bring our innovative products to the forefront of classrooms across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
What You Will Be Doing:
Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the marketing team in achieving our strategic goals of driving growth and retention. You would be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
1. Content creation: Assisting with the creation of marketing materials such as blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and website copy that inspire educators and align with our brand values.
2. Email marketing: Assisting with the creation, testing and scheduling of targeted email marketing campaigns – from creation to testing and analysis.
3. Events: Play a key role in the success of events, managing pre-event promotion, on-the-ground branding, and impactful follow-ups.
4. Social media management: Scheduling and publishing content on various social media platforms, engaging with followers, and monitoring online brand mentions to keep our product brands top of mind.
5. Marketing research: Assisting with market research activities and data analysis to inform and adapt our strategies.
6. Project management: Assisting with the planning and execution of campaigns and events to help ensure projects are executed efficiently.
7. Administrative tasks: Providing essential administrative support to the marketing team to support the running of a dynamic and efficient strategy, including managing databases and maintaining marketing materials.
Who We Are Looking For:
An optimistic go-getter who is a highly motivated and organised individual with a passion for marketing and a strong desire to develop their career. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Essential Skills:
1. Degree in marketing, a related field, or CIM qualification.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite, MarketingCloud).
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desired Skills:
1. Experience in marketing or a related field (a plus, but not mandatory).
2. Excellent problem-solving skills.
3. Data-driven approach to work.
