To support the wider catering team in the provision of all catering services including covering and supporting other catering roles as required by the needs of the service.
Cleaning and deep cleaning duties as required within the catering department, including patient's crockery, cutlery, service utensils, food boxes, patient trays, flight dishwasher, floors, fridges, freezers and Cook-Chill hold rooms.
To ensure basic food hygiene standards are maintained and breaches are communicated appropriately and in a timely manner, in accordance with the departmental food safety documentation.
To record accurate temperatures in line with food preparation and cooking procedures - HACCP.
Communicate and liaise with staff across the Trust.
